Surface Finishing
The finish is what your customer sees and touches. We polish, texture, paint, coat, plate and print molded and die cast parts in-house, matched to your color standard and tested for adhesion — so parts leave the factory ready for the shelf.
10+ finishing processes
SPI A-1 to D-3 polish grades
Pantone / RAL color matching
Finish Matters
Every visible part has to be right — every batch.
Cosmetic products, appliances, automotive trim and medical housings are judged on their surface before anything else. A finish that varies between batches, chips at the edge or does not match the mating part undoes the work of the mold and the molding.
Our finishing lines sit next to the molding floor and the die casting line, so surface requirements are flagged in the DFM report, samples are approved before production and every batch is checked against your master sample.
Plastic Parts
Polish, Texture, Paint and Print
Most plastic finishes start in the mold — a polished or textured cavity gives the part its surface for free on every shot. Painting and printing are added after molding for color, soft-touch feel, legends and logos.
- Mold polishing to SPI grades from A-1 mirror (transparent PC / PMMA) to D-3 blast
- Texturing — VDI and MT chemical-etch or laser textures, matched across mating parts
- Spray painting — solid, metallic, soft-touch, rubber-feel and UV-cured coatings
- Silk-screen, pad printing, hot stamping and laser marking for logos, scales and keypads
Metal Parts
Coat, Anodize and Plate
Die cast and machined metal parts are shot blasted or vibratory finished, then coated or plated for corrosion protection, wear resistance and appearance.
- Powder coating and painting for aluminum, zinc and magnesium housings
- Anodizing — clear, colored and hard anodizing on machined aluminum
- Plating — chrome, nickel, brass and gold on zinc die castings; chromate conversion on aluminum
- Shot blasting, brushing and polishing for uniform as-cast or decorative surfaces
